DHAKA, Dec 21, 2024 (BSS)- The men's section semifinals of the Victory Day 
Kabaddi competition will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Shaheed (Captain) M 
Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.

Bangladesh Army will take on Bangladesh Navy in the first semifinal at 5 pm 
while Bangladesh Air Force meet Bangladesh Police at 6 pm in the second 
semis.

In the day's last group matches, Bangladesh Army emerged group A champions 
beating Bangladesh Police by 44-34 points after leading the first half by 21-
13 points.

Anwar Hossain of Bangladesh Army was given man of the match award for his 
outstanding performance in the match. 

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain witnessed the match and 
handed over man of the match award to Anwar.

Besides, Bangladesh Air Force emerged group B champions defeating Bangladesh 
Navy 37-34 points after dominating the first half by 20-16 points.

Dipayan of the winning team was given man of the match award for his 
impressive performance in the match.
