DHAKA, March 10, 2022 (BSS)-Inter-Divisional Women’s Handball competition begins tomorrow at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city, said a press release.

Youth and Sports Secretary Mesbah Uddin is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest at 10 am while Bangladesh Handball Federation’s general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor will be there as the special guest.

Organised by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association, the champions and runners-up teams of divisional phase from eight divisions will compete in the two-day meet, which will be held marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and golden jubilee of independence.

Bangladesh Olympic Association’s Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza is expected to present in the prize distribution ceremony of the competition as the chief guest on Saturday (March 12)and distribute the prizes.

National Sports Council director (administration)Sheikh Hamim Hasan will also present as the special guest in the prize distribution ceremony.
